Did you know that some species of lizards have the ability to change colors? This phenomenon, known as "chromatophores," allows certain lizards to adjust their skin pigmentation to match their surroundings, helping them blend in and avoid predators. While this color change is not as dramatic as that seen in chameleons, some lizards, such as anoles and certain species of geckos, can still shift between different shades of green, brown, or gray to camouflage themselves in their environment.
